Personal Interests

Music
Music has heavil influenced my life. My father has been a part time musician since before I was born. He plays the drums. He used to play in a band called Timberlake, a GD tribute back in the 70's and 80s. Now, he plays in an oldies band called freeway. When I was about 11, I started getting interested in music myself. I began playing the piano / keyboard. I took lessons for about a year. Soon, I was good enough to play in a band. I also began playing the guitar. Now, I can play them both at a somewhat advanced level. My musical style was greatly influenced by my favorite bands. My keyboad playing was influenced by a man named Billy Powell of Lynard Skynard and my all time favorite pianist Brent Mydland of the Grateful Dead. I'd love to say that I can play the guitar like Jerry Garcia, but no one, and I mean no one will ever play like Jerry. He was my inspiration to play the guitar, but all I can do is hope to be 1/4 of what he was. He was truely one of the inovaters of music. We will all miss him, our captain trips, Jerry Garcia.M@++ Grateful Dead Page

Agressive In-Line Skating
Another of my many interests is in-line skating. About two years ago my freind Scott and his brother Brian got me into it. Last summer(97) we spent almost every night at out local high school grinding the curbs, riding the stairs, and sliding the rails...not to mention pissing off some cops and anti-skating people. I think that agressive in-line skating as well as skateboarding and BMX biking deserves a park in Palmer, MA. If you feel the same way too...please sign my petition..(E-Mail me with your name...petetion)
Computer Programming
